katarina’s sleep schedule depends on what she has done on that certain day. if she has just been doing small tasks around her home, or going to the market to get some things, then she will sleep at a reasonable hour. however, if she has been doing something strenuous such as undercover work or fighting her foes; then she will have been up presumably for more than twenty-four hours and will get to sleep as soon as she returns. she often has night terrors which make her wake up sweating and genuinely afraid, and the very essence of her dream will stay with her for the remaining day, taunting her && making her feel fidgety. this causes her to not want to sleep, because she is genuinely terrified of having yet another of her many nightmares. however, in her eyes, she is not foolish and tries to get some sleep anyway, for the sake of her health, physical appearance and abilities.

When banquets or other social gatherings take place in Noxus, Katarina is obliged to make an appearance there along with her family && close connections. She is often complimented by drunken fools and others who have an interest in ( o n l y ) her appearance, but even so she stays calm and thanks them before leaving their sight. This leads to an insecurity that she absolutely despises— her want of love and affection.
When growing up as the eldest daughter, Katarina was always the perfect young girl and had to be the model child. Though that was all she ever was, pretty and inspiring with a knack for blades. Her look was the only reason people took an interest in her and that made her feel so… unnecessary. Of course, with fiery red hair and a smirk planted on her cherry lips, who could ever resist? Sometimes it was on purpose and at times it wasn’t, but even so she just wanted wanted someone to like her for her true personality, not her attire nor natural beauty.
It ate away at her and every single time she dismissed it, because love could not be real. She was a dangerous assassin with the eyes of a killer— who could ever love that? No one could love a woman who had no trust && so she believes that if she ever did fall for someone, it would only cause trouble and heartbreak.

She is constantly aware of her surroundings, even in places that she deems safe. No one can be trusted completely by her, not even her peers— maybe a lucky one or two can be, but it’s extremely rare. Due to this, she has trust issues and it will be incredibly hard to get her to open up to you. She’s well guarded and strong, which helps her to stay focused on tasks given to her by the Noxian High Command.
